We’re kicking off a new month by celebrating two amazing Smothermon PTO volunteers who continue to go above and beyond for our school community!
Lead Spotlight: Ashley Malkin — Special Events Lead
Ashley has so graciously stepped into the role of Special Events Lead and has been a HUGE part of bringing some of our favorite PTO events to life, including Donuts with Grownups and Trunk or Treat! From planning and budgeting to reaching out to local businesses, she has put in countless hours behind the scenes to make these events happen. And she's not done yet! She's already helping plan more of our favorite PTO events for the remainder of the school year!
Ashley, we can't thank you enough for all the time and effort you've put into making these events so special for our school! We are so lucky to have you on our team and appreciate everything you do!
Volunteer Spotlight: Sangeeta Turlapati
Sangeeta has jumped in to help our PTO in so many ways! From helping deliver Nothing Bundt Cakes to our staff for their birthdays and lending a hand with event decorating to volunteering at Trunk or Treat and subbing at the school, she's always willing to step up wherever she's needed.
Sangeeta, THANK YOU for your time and generosity! You are such a wonderful example of giving back to your community, and we couldn't be more grateful for all you do!
Help us give these two a BIG thank you for all they do!
